Water Lily is a dramatic experimental/ narrative piece shot entirely on 16mm black and white film. The inspirational story follows a young woman's journey through life as she fights to attain spiritual freedom from her fathers web of secretes and silenced trauma. This story explores the subconscious mind in a state of dissociation and the fight to break free from it.  This 2017 short film was created by an all female film group as a Minnesota State University of Moorhead student film project.
